Fernando Pimenta

Fernando Ismael Fernandes Pimenta ( born August 13, 1989 in Ponte de Lima) is a Portuguese canoeist.

He won at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, a silver medal in the double kayak 1000m for Portugal, together with Emanuel Silva. In the 2010 World Cup in Poznan, he had already won a silver medal in the double kayak 500m, together with João Ribeiro. Pimenta starts for the Clube Náutico de Ponte de Lima.
