Feroze Gandhi

Feroze Jehangir Gandhi ( Firoz Jahangir Gāndhī, Hindi फिरोज जहाँगीर गांधी; born August 12, 1912 in Bombay, † September 8, 1960 in New Delhi ) was an Indian politician and journalist. With Mahatma Gandhi he was neither related nor marriage.

He was responsible for the Congress Party 1952-1957 Member of the first Indian Parliament ( Lok Sabha ) and husband of the later Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, whom he married in 1942. The marriage had two sons, Rajiv and Sanjay Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi was also later Prime Minister of India. Feroze Gandhi was Parse. He died in 1960 of a heart attack.
