Fescamps
Fescamps ( Picard: Fécamp, not to be confused with the homophonic Fécamp in the Seine -Maritime ) is a northern French village with 145 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) by the Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Montdidier, in the canton Montdidier.
Geography
The municipality is located in the countryside Santerre 12 km east of Montdidier at the department road D68 and south of the department of Road D930 ( with the group of houses Le Margot ), beyond which the municipality slightly expands to the north, on the border of the Somme to the Oise.
History
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
