Fiães is a municipality and city in Portugal.

History

Its history goes back to the days of the Roman Empire. Probably a missionary in the 4th century Ulfilas here, so the name was later shortened to Ulfilanis Fiães emerged .. For city ( Cidade ) was raised Fiães on 19 April 2001.
