Fiddlin' John Carson

Fiddlin ' John Carson (* March 23, 1868 or 1874 in Fannin County, Georgia, † December 11, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia) was an American Old-time musician, who was one of the first rural musicians recorded in 1923 a record.

Life

Even his date of birth is disputed. Most likely it is March 23, 1874, because it is the biographer Gene Wiggins According to the historically most likely assignable date of birth, since a census of 1880 Carson describes in June as a 6- year-old resident. Carson married in 1894 Jennie Nora and became the father of nine children.
