FIFA Ballon d'Or
The FIFA Ballon d'Or (French for " Golden Ball " ) is an award for the best football player and coach of the year. The award is presented as a merger of Awards World Player of the Year and Ballon d'Or jointly by the world governing body FIFA and the French trade magazine France Football since 2010.
First and now three-time champions in the men 's Argentine player Lionel Messi. Reigning World Player of the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo. In the women's Brazilian Marta won the first title. Current FIFA World Player is the German goalkeeper Nadine Angerer.
The gala same name is a continuation of the FIFA World Player Gala that existed from 1991 to 2009. The following awards will be presented:

Furthermore, the Brazilian football legend Pele was in 2013 awarded the prize of FIFA Ballon d'Or for his life's work.
