Filles-Dieu
The Filles -Dieu were a religious community founded before 1270, which was devoted to the service of the sick. They called themselves initially Sœurs de Saint- Gervais, as they worked in the same hospital in Paris around 1300.
Your offices were mainly in Paris, Orléans, Beauvais and Abbeville. End of the 15th century on the Rue Saint- Denis, the Paris office was only a few feet in front of the Porte Saint- Denis.
The Filles -Dieu wore a white robe and a black coat.
