Filothei-Psychiko

Filothei - Psychiko is a municipality in the Regional County Athens -Nord region of Attica, about 6 to 8 km northeast of the center of the Greek capital Athens. It was in the administrative reform in 2010 through a merger of the previously independent municipalities Filothei, Psychiko and Neo Psychiko that have since the three municipal districts. The administrative center is Psychiko.

New mayor is since 1 January 2011 Pandelis Χyridakis ( Παντελής Ξυριδάκης, * 1960).

The municipality is situated on both sides of the Kifisias Boulevard approximately in the middle between the Penteli and the center of Athens.
