Filthy Dukes

Filthy Dukes (English for " Dirty Dukes " ) are a Founded in 2005, the London synth-pop band. It consists of Olly Dixon, Tim Lawton and Mark Ralph. Her debut single " Tupac Robot Rock Club " was released in 2008 on Fiction Records, their first album " Nonsense in the Dark" was published in March 2009 for now.

History

The band was formed initially as a duo of Tim Lawton and Olly Dixon. This worked as DJs in nightclubs, along with groups such as Mylo, Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem. They put on remixes of songs by Late of the Pier, The Rakes and The Maccabees. Later, the already -working long-term for Filthy Dukes as producer Mark Ralph was joined by the band.

2008 Filthy Dukes took on a title with Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding for the film Wild Child. This is also included on the soundtrack to the film.
