FIM-43 Redeye

The FIM -43 Redeye was a shoulder-mounted anti-aircraft missile ( MANPADS ) by General Dynamics for self-defense by ground forces.

The development began in 1959, with delivery in 1966, in September 1969, the production was, however, terminated after approximately 85,000 shares had been made ​​.

Model FIM -43 Redeye was replaced by the Redeye II, which was later renamed in FIM -92 Stinger. The Redeye was taken 1982-1995 from the market after the deployment of the Stinger was completed.
