Finger on the trigger is the title of a Spanish-American Westerns from 1965, the producer Sidney W. Pink also staged. He has not been listed in the German-speaking countries.
Action
The civil war is over; ten former soldiers of the Northern states now want to start a middle class life on a ranch in New Mexico. When they arrive at the local Fort Grant, they do not know that it was occupied by a group of Confederate who are expecting a shipment of gold in the form of horseshoes, which they want to secure their own future. The Union soldiers discover the over-painted gold in the ghost town Southerville.
When the ten smoke signals of the Indians notice, eight of them go back to the fort to help the men there; two want to move on. The Indian attack cost the remaining cannonballs; so the whites are forced to melt the gold bullets in order to defend themselves. After the burning of Southern Ville, the Indians are a recent cannonball, which is directed at their camp, eradicated.
