Finnish prohibition referendum, 1931
The Prohibition Referendum in Finland took place on December 29 and 30 December 1931.
Since 1919, Finland was the Prohibition that had the prohibition as in other countries, was mainly supported by the women's movement.
The vote was a clear rejection of the prohibition and also among women merely advocated a third of the retention of Alkoholbannung. As a result of the vote, Prohibition was repealed in 1932 and the state-controlled alcohol monopoly Alko founded, which regulates the sale of beverages with an alcohol content of about 4.7%.
