Fiorenzo di Lorenzo

Fiorenzo di Lorenzo ( * 1440 in Perugia, † 1522 ) was an Italian painter. It is attributed to the Umbrian school, a typical in Perugia of his time painting style of the Italian Renaissance.

Life

Fiorenzo had in Perugia in Umbria his workshop, although there was only two paintings signed by him. Fiorenzos mature style is very similar to Antonio Pollaiuolo. Many of the works attributed to Fiorenzo represent St. Sebastian dar. His main work is the altarpiece " Madonna and Child with St. Peter and Paul " ( 1487 ). In Fiorenzos late work, the strong influence of Pietro Perugino reveals.
