Firestorm (1998 film)

Firestorm - Burning Inferno (Original Title: Firestorm ) is an American action thriller from 1998, which was produced by 20th Century Fox. Directed by Dean Semler. The world premiere was held in Westwood on January 7, 1998. In Germany the film was shown for the first time on 28 May 1998.

Action

Jesse belongs to a special unit of the so-called smoke jumpers ( "Smoke Jumpers" ), the jump in Wyoming in the case of forest fires parachuted into inaccessible areas to about lay there against fire or hit firebreaks.

  • Richard Oehmann on artechock.de: Since the fires, the bad and the good old Scott Glenn [ ...] more are not upsetting, but, taken together, make the impression of a rampant Lassie series, the film focuses wisely on the most boring leading actor of the late century [ ... ] what quite enough to his Farrah Fawcett -esque partner in front of the fire storm, but not to save Firestorm itself.
