Fisherman's staysail

Fisherman's Sail (English: fisherman's staysail ) is a traditional Besegelungsform of sailing ships, in between the two masts of a schooner an additional, lightweight sail will be used.

The sail was used when fishing boats at the top of the masts and had thus on deck space for hauling the gear. Today only take a few sailing ships such sails.
