Five Counties cheese

As Five Counties is called an English specialty cheese.

For the preparation of ripened cheese is shredded and put together in layers to about 1 pound loaves. The cheeses used are:

  • Cheddar (cheese) (light yellow)
  • Leicester (strong yellow)
  • Cheshire ( White)
  • Double Gloucester ( golden yellow )
  • Derby ( normally yellow)
