Five Hegemons

As a five- hegemonic (Chinese五霸) are called according to source different rulers at the time of the Spring and Autumn Annals in China. They have in common that they gained supremacy over the other Chinese rulers of their time.

Among the five hegemons are definitely Duke Huan of Qi and Duke Wen of Jin. These two hegemons were made ​​official by the Zhou king to the chief of the princes.
