Fixed satellite service

The Fixed Satellite Service (english fixed -satellite service) is as defined by the International Telecommunication Union, a radio service between earth stations at certain locations when one or more satellites are used.

The particular location could be precisely designated fixed point or any fixed point within narrowly defined areas. In certain cases, this includes radio service radio links between satellites, these radio links can also be operated in the inter-satellite service. The Fixed -satellite service may also include feeder links on other space radiocommunication services.
