Fjäll cattle

The Fell Cattle, also called Swedish mountain cow (Swedish: Fjällko ), is an old house breed of cattle from northern Sweden.

The withers is 120 centimeters for the Bulls 128, with the cows. Full-grown bulls have a weight of about 600 kg, cows of about 430 kilograms. The breed is primarily used for milk production, the performance is about 5500 kg of milk per year.

In 2006, the stock about 1,500 bulls and 3,700 cows, respectively. A considerable inventory is also kept on Spukloch near the Müritz for the purpose of landscape management.
