Fjällräven Classic

The Fjällräven Classic is a trekking competition, which is organized annually by the outdoor equipment manufacturer Fjällräven.

Participants run it from the start point Nikkaluokta on the Dag Hammarskjöld - Leden (from Singi to Abisko parallel to the King's Trail ) to 110 km distant target in Abisko.

The route leads along different control points:

The contest has gained with 2,323 participants (2011) very popular. In order to achieve a gold medal, the course must be completed in 72 hours. For silver and bronze, the objective must be achieved after 96 hours and 120 hours.

The rules of the contest is one that must not be stayed in the mountain stations or the huts along the way. Food and fuel for boiler is provided to the control points.
