FK Borac Čačak

Borac Čačak (full official name in Serbian: Фудбалски клуб Борац Чачак, Borac Čačak Fudbalski klub ) is a Serbian football club from Čačak. Currently the club plays in the second league. The club name Borac means in Serbian " The Fighter ". The vertical stripes of the jerseys the club has the nickname get Zebre (German zebras ). Home ground is the Čačak Stadium, also known under the name Stadium Region Morava (German stadium at the Morava ).

History

The club was founded on 1 May 1926 by the workers' union in Čačak. First club president was the carpenter Jovan Jolović. Borac Čačak in 1946 took part in the qualifying for promotion to the 1st Yugoslav football league, but failed to Red Star Belgrade. 1958 you won the Serbian Cup, then a regional competition. 1962 succeeded the Association of initial climbs in the second league. Borac Čačak in 1994 rose up in the first league. In 2008, the Club under coach Milovan Rajevac was the first time in its history, qualify for the UEFA Cup. In the UEFA Cup 2008/ 09 we failed in the last round before the group stage at Ajax Amsterdam.
