FK Ekranas

Ekranas Panevėžys is a Lithuanian football club from Panevėžys and currently plays in the first division.

History

On 3 March 1963, the club was founded as FK Ekranas and renamed in 1994 in Ekranas Panevezys. 2010 took part in the team at the CIS Cup, where they failed after a 0-3 defeat at the Kazakh FK Aktobe in the semifinals. From 2008 to 2012, they made sure five consecutive national championship and also celebrated in 2010 and 2011 with the simultaneous cup win the Double.

European Cup

The team took part in the qualification for the Champions League season 2006/ 07. In the first round the team defeated the Albanian representatives KF Elbasani, but failed in the second round by Dinamo Zagreb. In the second qualifying round for the 2009/10 season the club was subject to FK Baku of Azerbaijan. In the third qualifying round for the 2011/12 season the club was defeated BATE Borisov from Belarus said.
