FK Leotar

The Fudbalski Klub Leotar Trebinje is a Bosnian - Herzegovinian football club from Trebinje. The club plays in the top division of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Premijer league. The club colors are blue and white.

General

The club was founded in 1925 in the SHS State. In the early days the club was part of the catch basin of future stars of Yugoslav football. Although the club has always had strong soccer players in its ranks, it never made the FK Leotar until the disintegration of Yugoslavia in the top division of the former state.

Since the early 2000s, the club is a member of the BiH Federation and plays in the Premijer Liga, the highest division of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The home ground of the association is the Police Stadium with a capacity of 8,550 people.

The greatest success was the FK Leotar 2003, when you first walk champion of Bosnia - Herzegovina. Due to this great success the team played a year later in the Champions League qualification, but where you eliminated against the Czech representatives Slavia Prague in the second qualifying round.

The fans of the club are called Tigrovi.
