FK Lovćen

The FK Lovćen Cetinje is a football club based in the Montenegrin town of Cetinje. The club was founded in 1913 and is the oldest of Montenegro. Its name derives from the nearby nearby mountain Lovcen. His nickname is Orlovi ( = eagle).

History

The FK Lovčen Cetinje was founded on 12 April 1913 by the brothers Luka and Milo Milunović. Just one year later, in 1914, denied the FK Lovčen its first international match, against the French club Odre de bataglie militaire Francaisse. While Montenegro was part of Yugoslavia, the club played mostly in the second division and put it in a 552 second division games. At that time he was with the FK Budocnóst Podgorica and FK Sutjeska of the most successful clubs of today's Montenegro. Although Lovčen is the oldest Montenegrin club FK Lovčen was recorded immediately in the Prva Crnogorska League, but in the season 2006/ 07 achieved the profit and thus rise from the Druga Crnogorska League in the Prva Crnogorska league. Since then plays the FK Lovčen in the Prva Crnogorska league.
