FK Rad

The FK Rad (full official name in Serbian: Фудбалски клуб Рад, Fudbalski klub wheel), commonly known as a wheel or wheel Belgrade is a Serbian football club from the capital, Belgrade, more precisely from the suburb Banjica between the Stadtbezriken Savski Venac and Voždovcu lies, and plays in the Super League, the top division in the Serbian football.

History

1958-1962: The association was founded

On the initiative of several machine builders of the Belgrade construction company GP RAD, the football club Rad was founded in the first half of 1958. The company accepted the idea that the newly formed club should occupy the square of the FK Razvitak in the lower Lige Yugoslavia and thus received its support. The first club management consisted of the club president Petar Djerasimović, its vice Ljubomir Lazic, Secretary General Radojica Tanasijević and financial manager Željko Marjanović. The all first club coach was Nikola Marjanović, a former Yugoslav national football team. From the community Banjica the association received construction area for the construction of a playing field that was also eventually built in a relatively short time the company GP RAD. Due to a good club organization, as well as the annual financial position, he managed the club in the next four years to rise every time.

Wheel in the European Cup

Stadium

Wheel plays its home games in 3000 mainly seater Kralj Petar I. from the stadium. With home games against the two major clubs Red Star and Partizan, the association sometimes moved into the Obilić Stadium, which holds about 5,000 spectators.
