Flaco Jiménez

Leonardo " Flaco " Jiménez ( born March 11, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas) is an American Tex-Mex musician and accordion player of Mexican descent. He is the most famous accordionist of Tex-Mex.

His father, Don Santiago Jimenez Sr. (1913-1984) was - also on the accordion - a pioneer of conjunto music. Jiménez appeared with his father at the age of seven years. At 15 he made ​​his first recordings.
