Flag of Belize

The flag of Belize was adopted on 21 September 1981. On this day the UK dismissed his colony British Honduras to independence. In the center of the flag, the coat of arms of Belize is shown.

The flag has a great continuity to 1950 for British Honduras, designed, unofficial flag. Only the two red stripes at the top and bottom were added using the independence of Belize.
