Flag of Prince Edward Island

The flag of Prince Edward Iceland is the provincial coat of arms, modeled banner. The flag has the proportions 3:2; the three sides facing away from the flagpole are alternately limited by red and white ribbons.

The upper third shows a golden leopard, corresponding to that on the coat of arms of England. On the two lower thirds Eichenschößlinge three (symbolizing the three districts of the island ) and on the right an oak tree ( symbol of Great Britain ) are shown on the left.

The flag was introduced on 24 March 1964.
