Flat Daddy

As a Flat Daddy life-size, drawn on cardboard photographs of U.S. soldiers are called, who are stationed in the course of the mission Enduring Freedom and the Iraq war abroad. They were introduced by the Director of the National Guard Family Program in Maine Barbara Claudel.

The Flat Daddy are enjoying great popularity now among the soldiers families who take their Flat Daddy everywhere. However, the photographs also meet with incomprehension and rejection, as many people are now against the war in Iraq.
