Flight airspeed record

A flight speed record is the highest speed achieved by an aircraft without certain class. The rules of all official flight speed records are from the International Aeronautical Federation ( FAI). The speed records are divided into several classes and subclasses. There are three classes of aircraft: Country airplanes, seaplanes and amphibians. Within these classes, there are still divisions in different weight categories. There are further subdivisions for piston-engine, turbojet, turboprop and rocket - engine aircraft. We measured either a certain distance, a circular course vary in size and payload or between certain cities such as New York City and London.
