The Flinders Highway is a highway in the south of the Australian state of South Australia. It connects the Lincoln Highway in Port Lincoln, along the western coastline of the Eyre Peninsula with the Eyre Highway east of Ceduna. The Flinders Highway was part of Alternative 1 of the National Highway 1 in Australia.

Course

The Flinders Highway begins in Port Lincoln on the southern tip of the Eyre Peninsula as a continuation of the Lincoln Highway ( B100) to the northwest. 25 kilometers to the north branches of Death Highway ( B90 ). Just 7 km away is the junction of the road to Coffin Bay, a center of oyster farming in South Australia.

On his way to another are only a few places on the Flinders Highway. Elliston, Streaky Bay, Smoky Bay are the largest. In Elliston flows from the east of the Birdseye Highway ( B91 ) one, which connects the town directly with Cowell on the east coast of the peninsula. About 7 km east of Ceduna meets the Flinders Highway on the Eyre Highway and ends. Ceduna is known for whale watching tours offered to tourists.
