Flintbek

Flintbek is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. It is located about 13 km south-west of Kiel and is divided into the districts Kleinflintbek, United Flintbek and Voorde.

History

In today's Flintbek there are traces of settlements from the Stone Age. The first written record comes from the year 1220. Flintbeker The church was built in 1223.
