Flip (Cocktail)

The flip is a cocktail of sweet wine or brandy, which is made with egg yolk or a whole egg. Unlike eggnogs no milk or cream is added.

The cocktails bear the name of the alcohol used, for example, brandy or champagne flip - flip. There are also alcohol-free flips with coffee, tomato or fruit juice, such as banana flip.
