Florence Lee

Florence D. Lee ( born March 12, 1888 in Jamaica, Vermont, † September 1, 1962 in Hollywood, California ) was an American actress of the silent era. They also wrote 1912-1914 for seven short films the script.

Life

Between 1911 and 1931 she appeared in 99 films. With the advent of sound film, and due to her age, she retired from the film business. The now famous appearance was in a supporting role in her last film in 1931. She starred in City Lights Charles Chaplin, the grandmother of the blind girl. Her earlier films are today largely forgotten.
