Florentinus Sului Hajang Hau

Florentinus Sului Hajang Hau MSF (born 11 December 1948 in Tering; † July 18, 2013 in Jakarta ) was Archbishop of Samarinda.

Life

Florentinus Sului Hajang Hau joined the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Holy Family, and received on 16 February 1976 the ordination to the priesthood.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 5 April 1993 to the Bishop of Samarinda. The Bishop of Palangkaraya, Yulius Aloysius Husin MSF, consecrated him on 21 November of the same year the bishop; Were co-consecrators Jerome Herculanus Bumbun OFM Cap, Archbishop of Pontianak, and Wilhelmus Joannes Demarteau MSF, Bishop Emeritus of Banjarmasin.

With the elevation to an archdiocese on 29 February 2003, he was appointed Archbishop of Samarinda.
