Flower girl

A flower child (in some parts of Germany called Stray Angels ) is a child that scatters on the occasion of a wedding party before the wedding couple in the exodus from the church flowers.

On the way out of the church - in some bridal couples on the way to the altar - sprinkle one or two minor children - usually 3-10 years of age - small scattering flowers, so the couple proceeds on a colorful " flower carpet ".
