Geography
Geographical location
Fluorn- Winzeln is located on the eastern edge of the Black Forest on the Neckar valley, about six kilometers west of Oberndorf am Neckar.
Neighboring communities
The municipality is bordered to the north by the district of Peter Alpirsbacher cell in the district of Freudenstadt, on the east by the Oberdorfer Beffendorf district, to the south by the district Schramberger Waldmössingen and to the west by Aichhalten.
Community structure
The community Fluorn- Winzeln consists of the formerly independent communities Fluorn and Winzeln. For the former municipality Fluorn the village Fluorn and the living space include pounding mill. For the former municipality Winzeln include the village Winzeln and the courtyards church firs, and Season Bach Lower Mill.
History
Archaeological findings suggest that the Roman period was a brickyard in Winzelner community forest.
In 1099 Fluorn is mentioned in a document of the monastery Alpirsbach first documented.
On November 1, 1972, the two villages Fluorn and Winzeln close together on the new community Fluorn- Winzeln.
Policy
The community belongs to the Agreed administrative community of the city of Oberndorf am Neckar.
Mayor
On August 14 2005 Bernhard Tjaden was elected on the second ballot to the new mayor of the municipality. He broke from Wolfgang Schnell. In the mayoral elections on January 27, 2014 Bernhard Tjaden has been confirmed for a further eight years in office.

Sports
The local LSV Black Forest hosted the German Gliding Championships Club Class from 21 May to 6 June 2009.
The two football clubs VFL Fluorn and SV Winzeln play in the 2009/2010 season in the circle League B League A district or county Black Forest.

Education
In the district Fluorn there is a primary school with Werkrealschule, in the district Winzeln a primary school. All secondary schools are available in the nearby towns of Oberndorf am Neckar, Schramberg, Dunningen and Rottweil.
