Focus Bikes

The Focus brand is first presented in 1992 as a premium brand of Derby Cycle Werke for sporty mountain bikes. Using the three-time cyclocross World Champion Mike Kluge was born in 1993 to gradually establish a range of mountain bikes, trekking bikes were added in 1995. 1998 took its place Jörg Arenz, who introduced as a product manager in 2003, the segment road racing bikes. In collaboration with Andy Walser in 2008 followed by the development of a time bicycle and thus the gain in the triathlon bikes segment. 2009 was Focus supplier of the UCI ProTour Team Milram, 2010 was followed by the sponsorship of the Continental Team Van Viet, Jelly Belly Cycling and Team NetApp. 2011 UCI ProTeam equipped Focus the Katyusha from 2013 the UCI ProTeam AG2R La Mondiale.
