Food dehydrator

A solar dehydrator (English: Solar food dehydrator ) is an air permeable solar cooker. In contrast to this the solar dehydrator but does not work with high heat, but only uses solar heated air passing pulls himself moved by convection through the dehydrator.

For heating the air in the collector is mounted below the actual Dörrers. This usually has a black back wall and a barrier of glass and is isolated to the rear. By increasing the temperature, the volume and hence the moisture absorption capacity of the air, which thus cut off the flow-through chamber increases moisture.
