Football in Denmark

Danish Association and National

The Danish Football Association was founded in 1889. The first international match played the team of Denmark against France at the Olympic Games in London in 1908 and won the game 9-0.

Morten Olsen is the current coach of the Danish national football team. At the European Championships, the team was previously seven times here in Sweden in 1992 and took the title. At World Championships, Denmark had been represented four times and once reached the quarter - and twice the second round.
