Forest of the Martyrs
The Forest of the Martyrs ( יער הקדושים Ja'ar ha - Kedoshim ) is a forest near Jerusalem in Israel. There is a forest near Beit Meir with six million trees, symbolizing the Jews who were murdered by the Nazis in the Holocaust.
Was planted forest in 1951. In the middle of the forest in the Jerusalem Mountains is since 1974 a monument by Nathan Rappaport showing the history of the Jews from the beginning until the Six Day War and Scroll of Fire is named.
