Life

Taylor started his working life in the newspaper industry - his father was working there - before he came to the film in 1915. Two years later he went to Broadway, where he enjoyed success among other things, Clara Kimball Young, and from the second half of the 1920s had his own troupe.

In 1933, he returned to film and went to 1959 in over 300 films, including 200 Western, mostly from the B- production, in addition to all sizes in the movies. He moved from his father's friends to the villains in the background, often in the same movie. In 1942, he starred in the film adaptation of The Spoilers ( The Spoilers ) the villain Bennett. In addition, he also found time for many television roles, including Doc Brannon in The Man Without a Gun (1957-1959) and as Familienopa in This is the life. Even in the heyday of the serial productions he was to be found about 35 times in the cast list.
