Forster, New South Wales
Forster is a coastal city in the Australian state of New South Wales. It forms with the on the opposite shore of Wallis Lake lying Tuncurry a twin city. The population of Tuncurry Forster is 18,374.
The about 300 km north-east of Sydney Situated Great Lakes region around the two cities is a resort for the inhabitants of the metropolis.
The city was named after an early Prime Minister of New South Wales, William Forster, named; Tuncurry is " plenty of fish " in the language of the local Aborigines.
Forster Tuncurry is part of the administrative area of Great Lakes Council.
