France Info

France Info is a French radio station broadcasting exclusively news and information programs. It belongs to the public broadcasting group Radio France.

France Info is from 1 June 1987 to mission and was the model for a series of similar news channels which were founded in the sequence - in Germany, for example, B5 Current or hr- info.

For the half and full hour, there is a seven-minute "Journal". In between there are the 15th and the 45th minute of the hour broadcasting a "Flash", as well as for 23 and 53 minutes, the attention to the main issues of the following journals. Interviews, reports, sports, business news, cultural messages and posts on topics such as the environment, health or multimedia complete the program. At night newscasts foreign francophone programs are taken at different times.

With its pure information program has managed to France Info, becoming the fourth-largest station in France. The audience was September-October 2008 was 9.3 percent. According to surveys, is considered France Info as credible most stations in France.

France Info is to receive 105.5 MHz in most cities in a so-called single-frequency network on the FM frequency.
