Francesc Capdevila
Francesc Capdevila ( born September 17, 1956 in Barcelona ) also known as Max is a Catalan cartoonist, who won several awards in Spain and was honored in 1997 for his children's book illustrations with the Spanish National Prize. One of his well-known comic book characters is Peter Pank.
Starting in 1973, Max was a member of the underground comic group El Rollo. In 1979 he and others founded the comics magazine El Vibora. Later, he was the editor of the international comic magazine Nosotros Somos Los Muertos.
In 2008 he was a lecturer at the comic seminar Erlangen.
Today Max lives with his wife and daughter in Mallorca.
