Francesco Uttini
Francesco Antonio Baldassare Uttini (* 1723 in Bologna, † October 25, 1795 in Stockholm ) was an Italian conductor and composer.
Uttini was a pupil of Padre Martini, Pier Giuseppe Giacomo Antonio Perti and Sandoni. In 1743 he became a member of the Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna. As a manager of a theater group he came to Stockholm in 1755, where he was court music. At the opening of the Royal Opera in 1773 his opera Thetis och Pelée ( " Peleus and Thetis ", text by Wellander ) listed.
Uttini composed Italian, French and Swedish two operas, the oratorio Giuditta, incidental music, symphonies and chamber music.
