Francis Girod

Francis Girod ( born February 9, 1944 in Semblançay, Indre -et -Loire, † November 19, 2006 in Bordeaux) was a French film director, screenwriter, university teacher and producer. Growing up in Brussels, he studied journalism.

He was inducted into the French Legion of Honour in 2005.

Girod died on the night of November 19, 2006 of a heart attack and was buried in the Cimetière Montparnasse.
