Francis Stuart Chapin

Francis Stuart Chapin (* February 3, 1888; † 7 July 1974) was an American sociologist and 25th President of the American Sociological Association. He taught as a professor at the University of Minnesota and was in the interwar period, an influential pioneer of quantitative social research in the United States.
