Francisco de Asís Cardinal Vidal y Barraquer, in Catalan Francesc d' Assis Vidal i Barraquer, ( born October 3, 1868 in Cambrils, Spain, † September 13, 1943 in Freiburg, Switzerland ) was Archbishop of Tarragona.

Life

Francisco de Asís Vidal y Barraquer completed his philosophical and theological training in Barcelona, Tarragona and Madrid from the Doctor of Law. He received on 17 September 1899, the sacrament of Holy Orders, and then worked as a pastor and staff of the diocesan court in Tarragona. From 1909 to 1913 he served as Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Tarragona management.

1913 appointed him titular bishop of Pope Pius X. Pentacomia and Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Solsona.
