Franciszek Starowieyski

Franciszek Andrzej Bobola beaver stone Starowieyski ( born July 8, 1930 in Bratkówka in Krosno, Poland, † February 23, 2009 in Warsaw) was a renowned artiste pseudonym January Byk Polish graphic artist, painter and stage designer.

Life and work

Starowieyski came from the noble family of beavers stone Starowieyski. 1949-1955 he studied at the art academies in Krakow and Warsaw. The artist specialized in posters, paintings, stage designs and book illustrations. He was a member of the International Alliance of graphic designer (AGI ).
